两千年前，使徒保罗曾写道：「将各样的计谋，各样拦阻人认识神的那些自高之事一概攻破了，又将人所有的心意夺回，使他都顺服基督。」（林后10：5）。过去二百年以来，愈来愈多人提出理据，反对神的真理。他们宣称，「自然就是现存的一切」，又称，自然过程才是解释万物起源和历史的唯一依据。这种历史自然论漠视神存在的证据。 宇宙大爆炸、地质均变论和生物进化论都是以自然论为前设的。难怪三种理论都支持自然论。 以上三种理论都与圣经（创世记1-11章）对历史的宏观描述背道而驰。然而，我们有充足的圣经、历史和科学方面的理由，相信创世记1-11章是万物起源的平白历史。这本小册子列出了15个跟圣经和历史有关的理由，证明创世记就是历史事实。

1．自然法则

所有物质/能量系统都有强烈趋向于最有序存在的趋势。然而如果不是被设计或有人工智能的参与，即使开放的系统也会从有序趋向无序，从有信息趋向无信息，最终导致能量逐渐损失。

我们的博物馆、中小学校、学院以及综合性大学的生物学课程都在强调同类生物种内的变异是进化的证据。例如，伦敦自然历史博物馆宣称狗的育种证明了进化论。

The first chapter shows that life——from its most basic chemical building blocks up to the stunning diversity of organisms we observe around us——simply cannot have evolved by blind, random processes, but had to have been designed.

The book you are holding is the result of more than fifteen years of research, writing, and discussions with people from all walks of life and various worldviews. It presents the evidence from nature for the existence of a supernatural Creator——God.The book is written in the form of a dialogue between a skeptical inquirer and a formerly atheist professor who has become a convinced Christian believer. Difficult questions such as whether or not God exists and whether the Christian Bible is true history are directly raised and calmly discussed.

我把这套书命名为《理性信仰》，是因为我相信任何一位诚实的 探询者在检验这些证据后，都会达到一个合理的结论：基督教的确是 真实的。这三册书的完整论述纲要如下：  

1、 自然界证实了一位超自然的、非物质的、全能的创造者存在。 （第一册） 

2、 历史与考古都证明圣经的记载是准确的，这些使我们可以大 致计算出圣经书写的年代。（旧约圣经部分可见于第二册， 新约圣经部分见于第三册[即此书]） 

3、 圣经中记载的很多预言在过了很久以后都应验了，这证明圣 经是上帝的启示。 (旧约圣经部分可见于第二册，新约圣经部 分见于第三册[即此书])
